Release of the latest updated version of HowNet
  • Today we release "Chinese/English Vocabulary for Sentiment Analysis (VSA)(Beta version)". The VSA includes 12 subsets.

  • July 22, 2007 Release of the latest updated version of HowNet.

    • The latest updated version of HowNet has done a great deal of modification of data and presently contains Chinese entries (unique forms) 91016, and English entries (unique forms) 85295, including a lot of new words such as “kidult”, “North Korea nuclear issue”, “defunctionalize”, “MRAP vehicle”, etc. Moreover the new version adds one more relation between concepts, i.e. negation, which differs from the relations of antonym and converse and thus has reasonable adjustments in the word similarity computation.

    All the data and tools in the “Download” have also been updated.
